Theresa A. Horton, P.A. was incorporated in 1993, but the firm has existed as a sole practitionership since January 1991. In every aspect of the practice, Ms. Horton is committed to detail, compassionate service, and the comfort level of her clients.

The firm began as a general office practice. However, over the years Ms. Horton's expertise in elder law and estate planning, as well as her excellent reputation in the local Probate Court, have made it natural that the practice focus on probate, estate planning, and elder law.

Ms. Horton is one of only a few lawyers in Greenville who will accept appointment as a fiduciary, and has served as court-appointed Guardian, Conservator, and Personal Representative in situations where the family could not so serve.

Ms. Horton speaks on elder care and estate planning, serves the Bar and community in a variety of ways, and runs her practice as a statement of personal values.
